I would like to explain what exactly these basic tools are, and why you'll need them, no matter if you are selling saddles or painted rocks! You'll need to build your business on a solid foundation, and these are the building blocks to take you where you want to go! You can't start your internet marketing business without them.
The first most indispensible tool is your Capture Page Creator. Your Capture Page is what you present to the world, introducing your product. The layout and the graphics are every bit as important as the product you are offering, because it has to be the very best and most appealing. You often don't get a second chance at "capturing" the attention of the prospective buyer. Thus it's called the Capture Page.

The second most important tool of all to work online and build your business, is the Autoresponder. That's how you build your contacts and mailing list. Working from home is work, and building your business has to be one step at a time, using the basic building blocks.
So, just what does an Autoresponder do? It is a software system that allows you to send off pre written and pre loaded email messages at predetermined intervals even! They work with your email address and capture page. That means that you are free to do all the other important things you'll need to do, like writing blogs ,or ad text, or articles!
The AR sets up pre written messages--you can write them yourself or utilize the template ones in the system that I am using, The 12 Second Commute. The purpose of the sequence of messages is to build interest in your product that people have seen by reading your Capture Page, and have "opted-in" to get more info. The opt-in page is the first function of the autoresponder, that is where the interested and the curious become prospective buyers, and get put into your AR system..that is how you set up your mailing list.
Basically these messages work to introduce a "resolution" to a problem that your product offers. Then they go on to tell a bit about how this product can help, and third, they tell about the benefits your product gives them, and lastly will give the soft sales pitch. So do you really think you can build a business with lots of prospective clients without this? You'd be writing all day! especially if you have multiple products!
